An evening on the theme of double bloods in all shapes and colours. About roots, or the lack thereof. About how our biracial experiences are the ingredients of our identity. How to be the most square black guy and the most hood white guy at the same time. maybe not?

A premiere of the short doc Doubleblooded, spoken word poetry, a panel discussion and music form the basis for a good conversation about what the blood that flows through our veins actually means.

Panel Discussion

We would like to use our documentary as an indicator for the panel discussion. The panel discussion is therefore just as important to us as the documentary. That is why we also think it is important that people come who might find it interesting to participate in the conversation.

The panel discussion will delve deeper into the theme in which we find it important that it is both about being double-blooded and being bicultural. Moderated by Felicity van Stroe, who also has a role in the documentary, Yuri Blaak, Amilcar van Mulier and Shishani Vranckx discuss important questions about double bleeding.

We would like to broaden the conversation by inviting someone from a bicultural background as well as someone from a different generation.

In addition to a dialogue between the panel members, we would like to invite the public to participate in the conversation.
