Poetry night

Every second month we organize a beautiful poetry evening together with Gershwin Bonevacia. Gershwin Bonevacia (1992) is a city poet and spoken word artist.

Gershwin Bonevacia writes poems in Het Parool every month and is a regular part of cultural programs. He has a characteristic way of reciting. His meteoric rise did not come naturally due to his dyslexia, but struggling with words made him a magical word artist.

During this evening, Gershwin will give the stage to several literary talents. Be inspired by beautiful stories and end the night with a ‘borrel’ afterwards.

On October 11th, MC Lost will host the poetry evening in ADAM&CO with the theme ‘Ode to Blackness’. Especially during Black Achievement Month, he wants to give black poets a voice to express what this theme means to them.
