XA4 x Tenzin Choegyal

XA4 x Tenzin Choegyal

XA4 is bringing his fellow musician, Tenzin Choegyal, for an extraordinary performance showcasing both of their talents through solo pieces and collaborative works.

Tenzin, a Grammy-nominated artist from Tibet, boasts an impressive resume, having collaborated with renowned figures such as Philip Glass, Laurie Anderson, and Jesse Parish Smith. His Grammy-nominated album, “Songs from the Bardo,” explores the realms of death, reincarnation, and Tibetan Buddhism. Tenzin’s performances have graced events where the Dalai Lama has imparted wisdom to thousands on the teachings of Buddha and meditation, emphasizing non-violence and resilience against the oppression faced by Tibetans under Chinese rule.

Carnegie Hall in New York hosts an annual concert organized by Tibet House US, where Tenzin recently performed alongside esteemed artists like Joan Baez, Laurie Anderson, and Maggie Rogers. The roster also included Maya Hawke, Rob Thurman (father of Uma Thurman), and Jlin, with even the legendary David Bowie having taken part in the series.

Now, Tenzin is set to captivate audiences in Amsterdam alongside XA4, who has previously released an EP under the tutelage of Philip Glass. Following their performance at A’DAM&Co, they will be taking their talents to the October Gallery in London the following week. The evening will be closed with beautiful records, played by DJ Miss Terpentine.
